Does the screen always wake back up when you finish a call and take the phone away from your head? Therefore you can press end call quickly on the I ask is that I had a Touch Diamond with a power on off button at the top and having to press that and then press end call on the screen was a real pain. I don t remember my DroidX always doing this, but recently after I hang-up from a call it shows the Call Time XX:XX in the center of the screen and I can t do anything until it goes away, which is generally 5-8 seconds. Hitting Home, Back, etc does nothing and tapping on the screen or the message also does this a setting I can disable? I can look at the recent calls to get the length of call if I need to see it, so I don t need the dramatic pause to give me this info. Upon receiving a call, take phone fom holster, no magnets, car dock is dock, and it shows the way to answer phonecall. Return to call buttons are not the dialer lock screen comes and still no way to return to call. Oftentimes when I attempt to end a phone call the screen goes dark and I am not able to end a call. I have read other websites in which users have had similar issues. Will this issue be addressed and fixed soon in a firmware update? I just Downloaded Panda Home. And bought Marvel theme its ok. I was wondering which theme should i download. I know its down to personal preference but what would you suggest? I also am looking for a different Phone Lock i am bored of PATTERN LOCK. I would like a Pin Number lock Like the IPHONE. Also How can i make my own Themes. I m Into Marvel and DC Comics Most people seem to want to be able to lock feng sheng shui hei screen while on a call using bluetooth headsets mostly, and I d prefer it didn t go to lock while on a call. I just find it annoying when I ve been talking for a few seconds or minutes, then take the phone away from my head, having to wake up the screen by swiping my thumb across the light sensor, set the unlock pattern, hit the home button to leave the dialer app, find the app I need to look something up in while talking, etc. And sometimes it doesn t go to lock at all! Does anyone know why/when the screen goes to lock during a call only? The rest of the time, it takes the full 10 minutes I have it set for before dimming out and shutting down. But usually, during a call, it seems like only a few seconds. Anybody know if there is a way to lock the screen during a call when using a bluetooth headset? I ve hung up on a couple people trying to do this. There was an old, dead thread on this in the App forum, with no replys, so I am asking here. I really don t like the little button on the Droid as a lock Now that I have added a skin to the phone, that button is even worse. Does anyone know of an App that would put a Lock icon/widget on my home screen? As an added bonus, if it had some kind of shake to wake but not unlock that would make it a money app for me. Can anyone tell me how to get ride of the key lock when you get your phone? This is for the Droid I have went to Settings/Locations/Security/Set up Screen Lock and there are only two out of the 4 option highlighted, which are: Pin Pattern. The NONE option is not highlighted to select. This is very irritating. I have contacted my local carrier and they have no idea why it isn t working. I m seeing so many people complaining about the new lock screen that it seems that many Droid owners aren t using a pattern lock to secure their phone. This really surprises me, the phone contains access to all your email, contacts, calendar, and any other personal data you may have placed on it, and a large percentage of you aren t even using the basic security provided by the pattern lock? Or is it that many people don t know the pattern lock exists? I just can t imagine having a phone like this that isn t secured to whatever extent is available. I have only had the Droid for 24 hours and I have had it reset on me about 8 times already. I really am not too sure why. Mostly its been while doing different tasks in different applications. But as of the last 3 times, it has been while I was using the Broswer. Essentially, it just completely locks up no haptic feedback either and either resets itself, or else I have to hold teh ShiftAltDel to reset anyone else had this problem? I never use my physical keyboard. I would like a slim case to protect my phone and i don t care if the KB doesn t slide out at all. i would actually prefer it stay closed. Hard plastic or a soft silicone is ok with me. i have the soft rubber case around my work BB and it works perfect. I would love something like that for my droid. And i want one that doesn t raise too much over the screen. a coworker has a hard case for his iphone and it makes it hard to hit the touch screen on the borders. the case sits so high you have to put your finger or thumb almost verticle to touch the on screen keyboard. How would this be possible? I have never had a password on my droid and now that I have loaded v 2 it has told me that I need to create a password to get into the phone at the swipe lock everytime I use the phone I have to feng sheng shui hei a password before swiping. Anyone know why? Ive seen DINC with the iphone lock screen look. Anyone know how to get this on the droid x?? I was just wondering if there was any other way to answer or end a call besides sliding or tapping the screen.
